Assign copy information

You can assign a Circulation Type, Copy Categories, Sublocation, Vendor and Funding Source to the copies, if needed.
If the incoming records already have any of this information, the import does not overwrite it.

1. Assign a Circulation Type. (Not available for district media centers)
   • Select the first option to choose the Circulation Type from the list.
   • Select the second option to assign the Circulation Type based on the incoming copy call number (852 tag, subfields _k, _h, _i, _m). To review or update your Circulation Type/Call Number associations, click Update.
2. If desired, click Assign to select Copy Categories for the incoming copies.
3. If desired, select a Sublocation, Vendor and/or Funding Source for the copies.
   Note that sublocations appear in this list only after you add them to your Sublocations list from the Add Copies or Edit Copy page. If no entries exist for this list, Undefined is the only option available.
   To add entries to your Vendor or Funding Source list, click Other.
4. If desired, select a Change Currency Code, a to, and enter a numeral in the Exchange Rate field.
5. When you are finished, click OK.
