List possible duplicate titles

If you would like to reduce the number of MARC records for the same title in your database, select this check box. This process is useful, for example, when you don't want multiple records for a book when the only difference is the binding.

If you select the check box, Destiny® compares the title, author, and material type of each incoming record with those in your collection. When a match is found, the job summary contains a link so that you can review and merge the records.

Please note that you cannot select this check box if you selected Always add the incoming title, above.
