note When you select the Make this the default checkbox, the default resource group is assigned in the following: Upload Changes (when the field is not mapped, the mapped field is unknown, or the access level is different from the exiting one), Add Patron, Patron Import, Transfers, and Multiple-Site associations.

1. If you are not already on the Access Levels page, then follow the steps in the blue bar with white letters (above).
2. Find the access level you want to edit, then click .

note The Destiny Administrator can define resource groups for the entire district by selecting Setup > District Options. Then, in the Access Levels section, click Edit.

3. Select Resources.
4. Find resource groups for this access level, then click Setup.
5. Click +Add Group.
6. In the Resource Group field, enter a name for the resource group.
7. Optional step To make this the default resource group, select the Make this the default checkbox.
8. To define what resources the patron can view in the resource tree, use the Select All and Clear All buttons. You can also select individual checkboxes as needed.
9. Click Save.

1. Select Back Office > Manage Patrons.
2. In the Find field, enter your search criteria.

note To ensure you find the correct patron, Follett recommends searching by barcode.

3. Click .
4. Use the Resource Group drop-down to select the appropriate resource group.

note If you do not see the resource group you want in the drop-down, you need to define it for this patron’s access level.

5. Click Save.
