Transfer a patron

Typically, you transfer a patron to another site when they are moving to another site.

example A patron is moving from elementary school to middle school.

To transfer a patron

important To transfer a patron you must be a district user with access to manage patrons.

1. Login as a district user.
2. Choose Back Office > Manage Patrons.
3. In the Find box, type in part of the patron's name or type in the first initial of their name with a wildcard (*), click Search.
   
4. Find the patron you are transferring, click Edit. The Edit Patron page opens.
5. In Site Information section, click Transfer. The Transfer Patron page opens.
6. Make the applicable selection from the Transfer to list.
7. Make any other changes, click Save. The Edit Patron page opens.
8. Make any further changes, click Save.
