Functionality limitations while a barcode filter is in place

While your barcode filter is in place, Destiny cannot calculate and automatically assign barcode numbers to new copies.

The following features depend on this automatic calculation and are not available until your Destiny® Administrator removes the barcode filter:

• Catalog > Add Copies: Adding multiple copies of a title at one time
• Catalog > Add Copies: Having Destiny assign barcode numbers
• Catalog > Title Details > Copies tab: Having Destiny remove barcode numbers
• Printing Unused barcode labels (those not yet assigned to copies)
• Receiving all textbooks in a transfer (Follett Destiny® Textbook Manager only)

important We strongly recommend that you conduct a complete inventory to reconstruct all the barcode numbers as quickly as possible.
