Upload patron pictures at the site and district levels

Select Back Office > Upload Patron Pictures

For the upload of patron pictures to be successful, there are a few things that need to done prior to the upload.

Before you begin

Before you upload multiple patron pictures, you need to:

• Create a picture-to-patron map file. For details, see the map file.
• Gather all the patron image files you want to upload.
• Create a zip file that contains the picture-to-patron map file and all the patron images to upload (Supported file types are .gif, .jpg, .jpeg and .png. Files must be at the root of the zip file.)

NOTE The maximum file upload size is 500 MB.

To upload multiple patron pictures at the site level

1. If you are not on the Upload Patron Pictures page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
2. Browse to the zip file that you want to upload. When you find it, click Upload Pictures. The Job Manager opens.
3. Select Refresh List.
4. Find your job from the list, and then click View. A list of patrons that were updated appears.

To upload multiple patron pictures at the district level

1. Log in as a district user with the Manage Patrons for the District permission.
2. If you are not on the Upload Patron Pictures page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
3. Depending on your operating system, click Browse or Choose File.
4. Select the zip file you want to upload, and then click Open.
5. Click Upload Pictures.
6. On the Job Manager page, select Refresh List.
7. Find your job from the list, and when upload is complete, click View. A list of patrons that were successfully updated appears.
