Remote circulation upload to Destiny
When you are done performing a remote circulation, regardless of the Destiny® product, you are ready to upload the file(s) to your Destiny workstation.
important Be sure to upload remote circulations as soon as possible.
File naming convention
important In addition, if the Follett device you use had minimal charge left, the year of the fine name can get corrupted, meaning if you perform a remote in 2011, if you cannot find your file to upload, but you see a file with the date you performed the remote circulation, but the year is wrong, that is likely your file.
The file naming convention that Follett Remote uses is labeled by the type of circulation and date, as follows:
- Library Manager
LibraryCirculation<yearmonthday>
- Textbook Manager
TextbookCirculation<yearmonthday> .
- Media Manager
MediaCirculation<yearmonthday> .
- Resource Manager
ResourceCirculation<yearmonthday>
example You perform a remote library circulation on 11/18/2011. The file that Follett Remote creates is named: LibraryCirculation2011-11-18 .
