Install the Dolphin File Transfer utility

Follow the steps below to install the Dolphin File Transfer utility on your workstation.

Important Before installing the Dolphin File Transfer Utility, you must install the Dolphin USB drivers.

1. Download the installation application, DOLPHIN_FILE_XFER.EXE, to the local workstation.
2. Double-click the DOLPHIN_FILE_XFER.EXE file to launch the installation wizard.
3. Click Next. The next dialog shows the Destination Folder.
4. Either click Next to install to the default folder (C:\Program Files\Dolphin File Transfer\), or click Change to specify a different location.
5. Click Finish to close the wizard. The installer creates a shortcut to the Dolphin File Transfer Utility on the desktop.

You are now ready to scan barcodes with your Dolphin and transfer the barcode numbers to your workstation.
