Allow Follett Digital to authenticate patrons through Destiny (Site Admin)
If you want your patrons to access your Follett eBooks from Destiny®, you can set up Follett Digital to authenticate patrons with patron information in Destiny. If you do so, you do not have to maintain a separate set of patron accounts in Follett Digital.
Access and information needed for this step
- Your Destiny installation type: District or Consortium
If you are in a Consortium, your Context Name - The site's Destiny IP Address or domain name
- The Destiny port number that will be used for communication between Destiny and Follett Digital.
The default is 7777.
If you or your network technician changed it, make sure to inform your Site Administrators. - Each site's Destiny Site Short Name
You may need to get this information from your Destiny Administrator, Super Administrator, or your network technician.
