- If you are not on the Check Sources page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
- Enter a name for the resource in the Where Resource Name field.
Note: If this is a new resource, click Add the Resource on the far right of the page.
- Edit or enter information in all appropriate fields.
- Select the Includes other items checkbox.
- Click Save.
- To continue, click Yes to confirm that you want the resource to include other items.
Note: The resource is now defined as a container. Add a barcoded item, which becomes the "parent" item. All included items added to this resource parent item are defined as "child" items.
- If this resource is new, on the Resource Details subtab, click Add Item.
This is the container.
- Enter a barcode in the Starting Barcode field, or select Assign next barcode.
- Click Save.
- Continue to add items (containers) to the resource as needed.
You can now include items in each container as a district administrator or at a site as a site-level user. The container is also available at this time to be checked out or in.
