Follett Digital Update

Select Back Office > Job Manager

When the upgrade for Follett Digital Destiny® is complete, a reconciliation process runs. This process compares the eBooks and audiobooks you have in Follett Destiny® Library Manager with the eBooks and audiobooks you have on your Destiny Discover and reconciles the differences.

note The Job Manager name is Follett Digital Update.

When the reconciliation process is done, you can review the Follett Digital Update Job Summary.

To review the Follett Digital Update Job Summary

1. If you are not on the Job Manager page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
2. If your job is not done running, click Refresh List until the status is Completed. If the status is Failed, then rerun the job.

3. To see the details, find the most recent Follett Digital Update, and then click View.

Follett Digital Update Statuses

When you view a Follett Digital Update job in the Job Summary, the status messages include: Skipped, Added, Notice, and Removed.

Message	Details	What you can do
Skipped	During the reconciliation process, if your Destiny already contains a copy of the eBook or audiobook, then no changes were needed.	If there is a Manage Destiny Copies link in this status message, then click the link to add copies. For more details, see Copy Records.
Added	During the reconciliation process, the eBook or audiobook was added to your Destiny.	If there is a Manage Destiny Copies link in this status message, then click the link to add copies. For more details, see Copy Records.
Notice	The MARC record is either hidden on Follett Shelf or is not part of your collection. note Hidden means that only certain patrons can see the given copy. For example, a teacher's guide would be hidden from students.	If there is a "View title" link and you click it, the Title Details tab appears. For details, see Library Title Details for the given record.
Removed	As the reconciliation process runs, if you selected the Remove titles and copies that are expired or hidden checkbox on the Search Setup page, then the noted titles and copies are deleted in Destiny.	NA

To rerun the job

1. Select Catalog > Search Setup > Digital.
2. In the Synchronize Titles section, click Update.
