Remove barcode numbers

You can remove a range of barcode numbers from your copies of this title by specifying a starting barcode number and a quantity to remove. You can remove barcode numbers only for copies that belong to your school and that have a status of Available.

From the starting barcode number, Destiny moves sequentially upward, removing barcode numbers as it goes. Destiny can only remove sequential barcode numbers. If Destiny reaches a gap in the barcode number sequence, it stops removing barcode numbers.

note Destiny does not retain the following copy information when you remove the barcode numbers: Condition, Location, Purchase Price, Copy Categories, and Notes. It does retain the Budget Category and Date Acquired.

To remove barcode numbers

1. Enter the number of copies from which you are removing barcode numbers adjacent to Quantity to Unassign.
2. Enter the beginning barcode number adjacent to Starting with Barcode.
   It must belong to a copy of the title you are editing and it must match your defined textbook barcode symbology.
3. Click Remove to remove the barcode numbers.
