Widgets

Widgets give you quick and direct access to the Destiny Discover Home page and to the keyword search. Use them to embed custom HTML code in your library, classroom, or school website.

important Only administrators with the Allow Follett Digital setup administration permission can create Destiny Discover widgets.

To set the permission in Destiny, select Back Office > Access Levels. Next to Administrator, click . The Allow Follett Digital setup administration permission is under Administrative Access.

note When you access Destiny Discover using a widget, you enter as a Guest. Once in Destiny Discover, you can log in. In addition, the only type of search you can perform using widgets is a keyword search.

To create a widget

1. Select Site > Widgets.
2. Use the following table to select the kind of widget you want to create:

If you want to create a widget that…	Then…
Launches the Destiny Discover Home page	Select the Badge checkbox. Select the Filter Themes you want. Find the widget you want, and then click Customize and Get Code. Click Copy, and then click Done. Outside of Destiny, go to the location you want the widget, and then paste the HTML-code. To return to Destiny Discover, click Close.
Launches a search in Destiny Discover	Select the Search checkbox. Select the Filter Themes you want. Find the widget you want, and then click Customize and Get Code. Select a Material Type. Click Copy, and then click Done. Outside of Destiny, go to the location you want the widget, and then paste the HTML-code. To return to Destiny Discover, click Close.
