eTextbooks (Textbook Manager)

Select Catalog > Add Textbook

eTextbooks are available in Follett Destiny® Textbook Manager.

important Existing links (entered in the Resource URL field of the title record) in Follett Destiny® Textbook Manager v12.0 and lower are automatically converted when you upgrade to Follett Destiny® Textbook Manager v10.5 or higher.

note What you are able to do with eTextbooks is dependent on the access levels given to you.

Here are some key things that can be done with eTextbooks (depending on your role):

• manage eTextbook
• create eTextbook and copy records
• provide students with easy access to etextbooks and related materials
• create multiple links to digital content (for example, ebooks, audio, video, websites, et cetera)
• determine if students and faculty who check out an eTextbook has access to the digital content in My Info
• check eTextbooks out and check them in early (if necessary)

note Follett Destiny® Textbook Manager automatically checks in eTextbooks on the designated due date. The copy count adjusts accordingly.
